China Tour Tips During Your China Tour

Entry China Regulations ?
Following procedures are required upon your arrival in China from abroad.

1. Health check
Quarantine Check is the first check you need to pass. You shall show your visa and passport and fill in a Health Declaration Form at the check point. Anyone with listed disease such as yellow fever, cholera, VD, leprosy, infectious pulmonary tuberculosis or AIDS will not be allowed to enter. For those coming from areas with epidemics, valid certificates of inoculation against the disease are required. If you are suffering from symptoms of fever, diarrhea, vomiting or rashes, you must declare the accurate information accordingly.

2. Frontier Inspection
You are required to fill in an 'Entry Registration Card' at the Frontier Inspection Station. The officer will also check your passport and visa.

3. Customs Declaration
Once collected your luggage, you will pass through the Customs.
Go through the green one if you have nothing to declare, otherwise you shall take the red one. If you are uncertain which channel you'd take, choose the red one.
You are required to declare items include computers, cameras, video cameras, gold and silver, printed or recorded materials, or anything more than you need during your travel in China, or something that you will not take out of China when you leave. The customs officer will check wether you have to pay duty, deposit the items at Customs, or allow you to bring them into China but bring them with you when leaving China.
The copy of the stamped form must be well kept and be submitted to Customs on your departure.

Duty-free goods that are allowed to be taken into China include:
-2 liters of alcoholic beverages
-400 cigarettes
-50g (2 ounces) of gold or silver
-US$ less than 5,000
-Chinese RMB with a total value less than 6000RMB
-Reasonable amount of perfume
-1 still camera and reasonable amount of film

Please note that all the receipts of the valuable articles, such as jewelry, jade, gold and silver ornaments, handicrafts, artifacts, paintings and calligraphy that you bought in China should be kept for the exit check. Antiques are not permitted to take out of China unless the "Certificates for the Export of Cultural Relics" from the Chinese Authorities is provided.
