What to Pack for China Tour with Children

As a relatively modern country, you can almost buy anything in China. So it's advisable to pack light. However, if you are planing to small countryside which are unlike big cities with a large population of expatriates such as Beijing, Shanghai or Guangdong, you may be well prepared. You can check with our tour advisor to have a better understanding of the destination you are heading for. We listed some items as below for your reference.


Daily use
Pack comfortable clothes, pajamas, socks and shoes for your child. It is advisable to bring layers of clothes to adjust to the weather changes.
Bring sun creams and hats to keep your child safe in the sun.


Comfort item
Bring a toy, a book or something which will keep your child amused and soothe their anxiety. For example, if your child could only fall asleep with a special toy, then bring it. Also make sure to pack some favorite snacks of your child.


Medical kit
You may pack a few medication exclusively made for children to guard from some small discomforts such as headache, upset stomach, nausea, insect repellents and etc.
It is also a good idea to bring the medical record of your child in case it's needed.


Diaper bag
If you are traveling with babies and toddlers, the diaper bag is a must. Although most stuffs required could be found in top-end supermarkets or malls in big cities of China, you may also pack a few if particular brands are required. The diaper bag is mostly stocked with infant formula, feeding bottles and diapers, a sling to hold your baby, medical record, finger foods ad etc.
